Welcome to iSalsaLive - Limerick’s longest running salsa and Latin dance club.

Salsa Live is a Latin dance/music teaching approach that explores the intimate relationship between music and dance in order to let students experience the power of dance through live music. The teaching provides an introduction to salsa, merengue and other forms of Latin American dance through performance. As a way of introducing the music, this is deconstructed to show its basic elements, and then built up through the addition of each of the percussive, harmonic and melodic instruments according to the genre. In this way, the students are able to use those basic elements to understand the structures of the music and their relationship with the dance steps.

Don’t forget classes are on every Thursday starting at 8pm in the Shannon Rowing Club at Sarsfield Bridge, Limerick. There is also free entry to the latin club after the classes. So pop in, check out the classes and see you on the dance floor. Parking is available on the quays or at the Strand Hotel (90 minutes free, 1.50 per hour after that)
